History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Fisher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.
