History: Born in the east to a Merchant, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
