History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Map Maker job and began his own company from there.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Shepherd like his mother before him.

He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Randal is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and sabotage a competitor
