History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a white vest and prefers pastel and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.

Personality: Trey hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: He wears long strands of sapphire and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with his Painter father left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
