The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Everard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Animal Trainer for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
