Theobald Astley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears a brown tunic with green highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. His hair is silver and very short. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: Revenge; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
Ideals: Philantrophist, Gifted. Flaws: Impulsive. Bonds: Military, Enemies. Occupation: Brewer

John Cumberbatch, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He has a missing left leg. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. His head has been shaved. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Being a Tailor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture
Flaws: Ugly, Shy, Insane. Bonds: Criminal record. Occupation: Tailor
Voice: Low and grunting

Ernest Ainsley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is greedy; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Attractive, Military, Rich. Occupation: Engraver
Voice: American accent

Percival Blythe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His white hair is thinning but still full. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Percival was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Percival took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Gilbert Tewksbury, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
