Jocelyn Davenport, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Jocelyn is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jocelyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn. Being a Glassblower kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and seeks redemption
