History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Adelard was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a tan armored body suit, with a simple black line shooting up and back down, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He very much looks the part of a Cook. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cook responsibilities is difficult.
