Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
