History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Reynard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
