Roland Atherton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is typically in his Bookbinder uniform. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Bertram Webley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His white hair is knotted and matted. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
Flaws: Impulsive, Antagonistic. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor, Criminal record. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Pronounces difficult words wrong

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Interpreter. He now owns his own business.
