Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and many goblins want him driven away

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
