Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Spice Merchant profession.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Roofer for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
