Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. A true patriot, Miles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Miles reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a Spy, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Layabout does, and he perpetually has his warhammer ready. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he wants to get laid
