Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Patrick grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He carries with him a set of flails, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Miles grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a falchion on his belt. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He was born in a small forest village. Thomas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his flail with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
