History: He was born in a small mountains village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
