Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Alex was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his halberd with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends
