History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Painter mother left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Norman was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
