Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Healer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
