History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lewis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This southern man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerard's homeland. Gerard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Through the years after Ralf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ralf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a deep hatred of goblins
