History: Rolf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat, and carries whips. His hair is brown and curly. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Reynard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Manfred has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with tan slacks. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is greedy.
