History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
