History: Aldous was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Dilettante like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and money/treasure

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Rolf will drive conversation. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
