History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Gerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
