Description: A 5'2" southern man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Miles will drive conversation. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a Miller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a great chef.

History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Raymond was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now owns his own business.
