History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His hair is short and black. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and human compassion

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He is baby faced.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. This brown eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable
