History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
