Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
