History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
