Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Kody has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
