Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Alex began to lead the lost caravan. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Theobald is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born in the south to a Animal Trainer, Balimaar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
