Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Born to a Courier, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
