Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Armorer. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born in the west to a Roofer, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
