History: Bertram was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has money and likes to spend it
