When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of drow

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Aldous was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aldous's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He got into the Glassblower business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to prove his worth to the world
