History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a brown vest and prefers blue and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is short and blonde. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This malnourished man wears a brown shirt with thin black vertical stripes and grey pants. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
