His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
