History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wishes to resurrect an old love
