History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to be a soapmaker again

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Randal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
