History: Manfred was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Don's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear flannel. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Ernest was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
