Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He dresses like a well dressed Guard does, marred by beers. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: He was born in the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a barber again

Personality: Hubert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs. His hair is short and silver. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
