His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Slave Trader job and began his own company from there.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.
