History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is content

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a scimitar on his belt. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Hugh was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
