Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
