History: He was born in the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Cartwright like his mother before him.

History: Roland was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Healer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Healer for the past few years.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy
