History: Peter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Godfrey embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new fletcher responsibilities is difficult

He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and seeks redemption
