Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
