Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the north to a Barber, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has worked as a Barber like his father before him.
