He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Roger and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Navigator who has hired him part-time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is typically in his Bookbinder uniform. His hair is black and curly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and balancing his hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult
