History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Kody was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Miles began to lead the lost caravan.
